Wednesday 22 June 2022 Year 3 Poetry Winners At The Globe Theatre We were really proud of our Year 3 Performance Poetry winners. Not only did they win a prize in this year's CLPE Clippa Performance Poetry Competition but they were invited to perform on stage at the world-renowned Globe Theatre.

Wednesday 8 June 2022 Swaffield Sings At Platinum Jubilee We are extremely proud to have been one of the 22 schools chosen to be part of the Platinum Jubilee Kids' Choir that performed at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant in front of Buckingham Palace on Sunday 5th June.

Tuesday 3 May 2022 Eid Assembly During a special assembly on 28th April, we learned more about Islam and the holy month of Ramadan from some of our pupils and Dr Eman Mansoor. Friday 11 March 2022 Year 3 Win CLiPPA Performance Poetry Award Massive congratulations to Giulia, Jozef, and Muneef from Year 3 whose fantastic joint performance of "Bright Bursts of Colour" by Matt Goodfellow has earned them a Four Star Winners prize in the CLiPPA Performance Poetry Competition.The winners were chosen from hundreds of video entries from schools from all over the country.

Tuesday 1 February 2022 Chinese New Year We've been learning about the Chinese New Year: in assembly, children performed the story behind the Chinese Zodiac and found out about the Year of the Tiger. Those in our after school "Cool Cookery Club" made a delicious stir fry. Happy Chinese New Year to all those who are celebrating!

Wednesday 26 January 2022 Nursery Maths Nursery children are using the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears to support their maths learning. Using all of their senses to decide what they think of porridge, they then recorded their opinion on a whole class graph.

Friday 14 May 2021 Chicks Hatch In Nursery Nursery were thrilled when ten living eggs arrived in a special incubator on Monday and were excited to learn that they would soon hatch. The children watched and waited and a little later in the week they began to see that a couple had little holes which appeared as the chick inside was ready to come out.
